Here is is Mmooffers. The information in TCOS that we got it from other site. If you are interested in this guide, hope you like it.
We noticed that the revenge buff we get from our opener deals damage to our own character if someone returns some of our own damage. This happens every time we hit someone that has a, lets say, melee reactive sigil retunrs a % the melee damage the wearer recives. We provide TheChronicles of Spellborn Gold for you.
Example: we hit PlayerX(TCOS Gold) with TerrorStike dealing 200 dmg, we are affected by the revenge buff. PlayerX's unknown buff or debuff returns 6 dmg(3%), we hit PlayerX with Slash dealing 100 dmg. PlayerX's unknown buff or debuff returns 3 dmg, Revenge hits us for 200 dmg, Revenge hits us for 200 dmg. We hit PlayerX with Hack dealing 100 dmg, Revenge hits us for 200 dmg, Revenge hits us for 200 dmg. Revenge hits us for 200 dmg.
The damage numbers are made up for this example. If a warrior uses revenge and they attack someone who has reflect up that reflect counts as an attack from the target and the target gets hit with revenge. From what you suggest that is not supposed to happen. The same thing happens with burning. If you are burning and you get hit by a warrior with revenge up you get destroyed by revenge because not only does the burning apply as a direct attack but each tick of the burning dot does as well.
If you manage to survive the first 7 hits at grossly multiplied damage the next set will kill you garunteed. The only time return damage hits the warrior from the warrior is when it is the result of a Sigil. Sigil's that return (%) of magic or melee damage will count as the warrior hitting itself. And will cause revenge to hit them. Although every warrior can limit the amount of damage revenge can actually do so it is not really an issue for them.
